NZ Fashion Week 2018 Success
The edgy nature of K' Road, a place from where new designers often find their feet, was once again evident at NZ Fashion Week 2018 as K' Road fashion designers strutted their stuff.
The KBA, through K' Road Presents, was once again proud to support our local designers during NZ Fashion Week 2018!
On Tuesday night, Adrian Hailwood wowed the crowd with his glam, eighties inspired evening wear. A live DJ performance by Silver Scroll finalist Antonne Thonnon complimented the pop of colours and textures of Hailwood's collection and first down the walkway was David Bowie's 'China Girl', Geeling Ng.

Following on from Hailwood's show, the audience moved up to The Stark White Gallery on K' Road for Lela Jacob's intimate and breath-taking AW19 Collection, ENDTOEND. With the bright, white lights of the gallery lighting up the audience who were seated and standing throughout the intimate space, her collection couldn't have contrasted more with Hailwood's dark and glitzy show. Jacobs' show started with haunting, live music from Hermione Johnson and the models weaved their way through the crowd.

Come the weekend, Fashion Weekend was also a huge success for K' Road Presents with Sarah Jane from Lost and Led Astray (LaLA) hosting a day of bubbles, treats and art in her showroom at the west end on K'Road on Saturday. Guests were invited to look through her new summer collection and engage with the art that had inspired her print designs.
