Leo O'Malley's 75th Anniversary 1935-2010

Edward Bennett, K Road Historian, below, will take you on a fascinating guided walk from Symonds St Cemetery through the superb heritage architecture along Karangahape Road regaling walkers with not only facts but with hilarious anecdotes of the eccentric and sometimes notorious characters who have peopled K Road over the last century.

The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the historic buildings and there previous owners, and all very interesting knowledge too. I hope that these will be held again in the future, I would do this walk again and any new walks that are planned for the area.  I will certainly be along to learn more about the area, that’s for sure, SB"
